IRAN after the GREEN Movement
A panel discussion with Nazila Fathi, Mehdi Khalaji and Robert Dreyfuss

Nazila Fathiis a reporter for the New York Times, for which she was the correspondent in Tehran from 2001-09. Ms. Fathi will be speaking about women as agents of change in contemporary Iran.

Mehdi Khalajiis a senior fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, focusing on the politics of Iran and Shiite groups in the Middle East. Mr. Khalaji has also served on the editorial boards of two prominent Iranian periodicals. He will be speaking about what defines an Islamic Republic, who rules it and what ideology governs it.

Robert Dreyfuss has worked as an independent journalist specializing in the areas of politics and national security. Mr. Dreyfuss has been a regular contributor to Rolling Stone magazine, where he currently covers national security issues. Mr. Dreyfuss will be speaking about the effect of sanctions on Iran.
